Sunday mornings

Songwriting is an arduous process for some and a juvenile thing for many virtuosos. I find it is somewhere in the middle for me, while I do have good angles for a song, I often butcher up the finer parts and have to start over again. At this point you may be wondering, what does Sunday mornings have anything to do with this? I find that on quieter days like Sunday help me channel my thoughts normally reserved for procrastination into more useful endeavours. Writer's block is easily cured for me via a cup of coffee and words flow out of my pencil like a new water tap.
Does it mean quiet days and a cup of coffee are excellent and universal choices for a songwriting session? Obviously not. Heck, it could even be a placebo effect for all I know. Just know that the best trick to songwriting is to be at ease with yourself no matter the surrounding, and to control your own ideas and concepts, not the other way around. That's all I wanted to share with you folks, stay safe, stay well and enjoy music.
